Our Story
How We Became Passionate about
Gardening As A Family
My husband Adam has been a qualified horticulturist and landscape gardener for over twenty years. He loves gardening from a professional perspective but is also a very passionate home gardener and permaculture enthusiast.
I am a writer. Together we have three children and live in a small, regional community in Western Australia. Combining our skills and passions led us to create “Kids That Dig”.
Our intention is to encourage your family to get into the garden and get your hands dirty. We will help you to be confident in growing your own fruit and vegetables and learn about permaculture practices at home.
It does not matter if you have a small backyard, a balcony or a huge plot of land. There will be SO MUCH you can learn from “Kids That Dig” to implement in your own home, with your own family. So, let’s get digging!
Our Family
We are Adam, Bonnie and our three young green-thumbs. Our children take ownership in the garden by composting, worm-farming, keeping chickens and growing fruit and vegetables.
We share our skills and knowledge with our community and want to share it with you too!
